With the POF 3+1 port switch a POF home network could be established. The switch can be used in multiple ways. Not only as the main network node, also as an additional network node through cascading. Beside the 3 POF interfaces also one common RJ45 interfaces can be found. So, a network devices can be connected to the POF network without the need of an additional media converter. The fan less design allows the use of the switch in noise sensitive places. The switch supports QoS mechanism and IGMP snooping and is ready to use without further configuration. Because of the use of standardized IP protocols, the switch is compatible to all other network devices. Another main feature is low power consumption.

Area of Application:

The POF 3+1 Port Switch is suitable for small home- and office networks. In combination with OMS 121 UP it is possible to provide a network connection in up to 3 rooms.
