The POF Gigabit 4+3 port switch makes it possible to set up a POF home network. The switch can be used versatile, both as a central network node, as well as for the provision of additional branches through cascading. In addition to the 4 POF ports, you will also find 2 RJ45 ports and 1 SFP port. Thus, network devices can be connected directly to the POF network without any additional media converters. The fanless design allows the switch to be used even in noise-sensitive locations.

The switch supports QoS mechanism and is ready to use without further configuration. The web interface and the debug port allow the configuration for information flow control.

The switch features low power consumption and a high data rate of 1Gbit/s over each port. By using standardized IP protocols, the device is compatible with all end devices.

The POF 4+3 Port Gigabit switch is suitable for home and office networks with a need for high data rates. In combination with the OMS 1021 UP-GIG, for example, a Gigabit network access can be provided in up to 4 rooms.
