OMS 1021 UP-GIG - POF network socket 2 x RJ45 flush-mounted 1 Gbps - Gigabit Ethernet

With the POF network socket two RJ45 interfaces can be provided at every electrical installation. In a technical perspective is the network socket a combination of a switch and a media converter. With the switch functionality the two RJ45 interfaces and the POF interfaces are connected to each other. For the power supply the L/B clamp is located on the backside of the network socket. The optical transmission over Polymer Optical Fibre (POF) allows the installation of the POF cable with the electrical installations. The main features of the network socket are an optimized temperature management and a high data rate of up to 1 Gbps at each port.

The swiss version includes the necessary standard center plate and adapter frame for the system Feller.

Area of application:

The POF gigabit network socket is suitable for home- and office networks with the need for high information rates. With the POF Gigabit network socket 2 common Rj45 gigabit interfaces can be offered in a room beside the electrical installation. Suitable for System Feller (Swiss).
