This set with 2 Gigabit media converters optically transmit over the POF network cable an electrical network signal.

Often the internet entry point in the appartment or house is not where services are needed. With the POF Starter Kit network cable connection can easily be established. Since the thin, flexible Plastic Optical Fibre (POF) cable is non conductive, it can be installed easily anywhere in the building. Even through the tubes of the electrical installation. In contrast to WiFi or Powerline, POF connections allow data to be transmitted loss-free, non-conductive and without additional electrosmog.

The thin POF cable can also easily laid under carpets, skirting boards or laminate. No special knowledge is needed for installation.
